Little shoes on Lil' Feet

Featuring the Heartbeat Boys and LosMega Boys, a benefit concert held at the Sunrise Theatre in September raised funds to put shoes on children in need throughout St. Lucie County.

Founded by St. Lucie County firefighter Fred Barbera, Lil’ Feet helps 300 children start the school year off on the right foot, with a new pair of fitted shoes.

Famed producer Maurice Starr sponsored the concert, along with Larry Lee, Jr., TD Bank, WIRA and WalMart Distribution Center.

Funds raised were donated to Lil’ Feet, the Raw Dawgs Youth Program, the Lighthouse Foundation and the Sunrise Theatre Foundation - all programs helping the youth of St. Lucie County.
